With over 13 years experience in public accounting with the firm, Gerry is a partner in the assurance services department of the South Florida offices of Grant Thornton. Gerry works with large private companies and middle market public companies. His industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, financial services, hi-tech and not-for-profit.

Gerry is also the Director of Latin America Business Services of the Miami International Business Center. In this capacity, he directs the firm's local and national resources to service the needs of domestic companies doing business in Latin America Markets and Latin American companies entering the U.S. marketplace. In addition, he serves as the U.S. representative on the Grant Thornton International Central and South America Audit Policy Committee.

Prior to joining the South Florida offices of Grant Thornton, Gerry completed a two-year secondment in Grant Thornton International's Mexico City office where he facilitated the provision of assurance and business advisory services to U.S. companies doing business or planning to do business in Mexico, Central and South American countries. During that time he also served as a member of the Central and South America Grant Thornton International firm review group, responsible for conducting quality peer reviews on various member firms in the region.
